The color is dark ruby, almost black. The nose is warm and spicy, with notes of luscious red and black fruit. It's sweet and smooth on the palate, with plenty of fiery red fruit and kirsch. A substantial 14% alcohol content is balanced by kirsch and sweet spices in the body, and it is supported by well- integrated yet subtle tannins. The aftertaste is long and tasty.
