Tasting Notes

The Le Vigne Di Giorgio Custoza DOC Vinesa White Wine offers a delightful bouquet characterized by aromatic notes of white flowers, crisp green apples, and hints of citrus. On the palate, it is refreshingly light with a well-balanced acidity that complements its fruity flavors, particularly notes of pear and lime. The finish is clean and persistent, making it a versatile companion for light seafood dishes, salads, or as a pleasant aperitif.

Vinification
The Custoza Doc "Vinesa" certified BIO is obtained from Trebbiano, Bianca Fernanda, and Garganega grapes.

Brief note: The Garganega grapes are cultivated in the pergola system, and the average age of the vines is 40/45 years. Some of the Garganega grapes are placed in crates and left to dry for at least 60 days. Trebbiano, Bianca Fernanda, and part of the Garganega grapes, strictly hand-harvested, are pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature, then placed in stainless steel tanks. Later, the remaining Garganega (previously dried, pressed, and fermented) is added.

After spending some months in stainless steel, the wine is then aged in bottles before being put on sale. It has a straw yellow color and releases elegant fruity and fragrant aromas, with a slight presence of chamomile and almond. On the palate, it is soft, delicate, savory, and mineral. The suggested serving temperature for consumers is 12°C.

Pairings
Very versatile in pairings and excellent as an aperitif, it pairs well with seafood appetizers, vegan dishes, fried or baked fish, white meats, and platters of fresh cheeses.
