Business Development Executive
As a Business Development Executive, your primary responsibility is to drive growth and generate new business opportunities for the company. You will play a crucial role in identifying potential clients, building strategic relationships, and closing deals to meet revenue targets. Your focus will be on expanding the company's customer base, exploring new markets, and promoting its products or services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and Prospect: Research and identify potential clients, target industries, and market segments to pursue business opportunities. Use various sources such as online research, networking, and industry events to generate leads and build a strong pipeline.
2. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and positioning the company's products or services as a solution. Develop a deep understanding of client requirements and offer tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.
3. Sales and Deal Closure: Conduct sales presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to win new business. Develop and present compelling proposals, pricing models, and contracts. Work closely with the sales team and management to ensure successful deal closure.
4. Market Analysis and Strategy: Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, potential partnerships, and new revenue streams. Provide insights and recommendations to the management team for strategic decision-making.
5. Networking and Collaboration: Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and expand professional networks. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
6. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor and analyze sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports on business development activities, including pipeline status, revenue projections, and market trends. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
7. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilize CRM tools to manage and track client interactions, document sales activities, and maintain accurate and up-to-date client information.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish long-term
- While formal education certifications are not the main focus, O levels or equivalent is required. Any additional education or certifications related to wine or business development will be considered a plus.
- Demonstrated negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends, data, and customer insights.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant business tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and conferences as required.
